Package Protection is an amended cancellation policy and provides reimbursement for unforeseeable package cancellation. It provides peace of mind for your entire group should an unforeseeable event occur. Package protection waives fees associated with group member name changes or transferring your package to another party.
This protection plan includes only the specified reasons described below. Proper documentation must be provided and approved before reimbursement will be issued. Package protection will reimburse up to the full package cost (minus the cost of the Package Protection coverage).
The Package Protection reimbursement only applies towards package inclusions and does not include travel or any other expenses incurred outside of the Festival Package.
The Package Protection fee is non-refundable. Package protection must be purchased within SEVEN days of the original purchase.
Reimbursable Package Protection Cancellation Reasons:
Proper documentation will be required for all listed cancellation reasons.
*As defined under the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA), an illness, injury, impairment, or physical or mental condition that involves any of the following: An overnight stay in a hospital, hospice, or residential medical care facility or any further treatment in connection with that inpatient care.
**Hospitalization must be an overnight admittance. Emergency Room visits do not qualify as Hospitalization. The hospitalization must be within one week (7days) of the package accommodation check-in date. Hospital admittance documentation will be required.
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19):
The reasons listed above are only those unforeseeable in nature. Covid-19 is not an unforeseeable cancellation reason, and therefore a cancellation request due to fear/threat of Covid-19 will be denied. However, if you contract Covid-19 and placed under a Mandatory Quarantine order within 5 days of the festival start date, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Official documentation will be required.
Transferring your package:
If you cannot attend the festival due to a non-included reason and package protection is purchased, you are eligible to transfer your package to someone else at no additional cost. The Name Change Fee of $50 per person will be waived. This includes substituting individuals within your package or selling your package entirely to another party. All names, addresses, etc. will be transferred to the new group. Without package protection, name changes after purchase are subject to a $50 per person fee.
Transferring of Packages: You are required to notify the Box Office (Mako Moco) a minimum of 2 weeks (14 days) before the package accommodation check-in date of a package name change and/or package transfer to another party. Wristbands, hotel accommodations and additional package inclusions must reflect accurate names of attendees.
REIMBURSEMENT:
Package Protection reimbursement is for complete cancellation only. This protection does not include delayed check-in or early departure for any reason. To qualify for package protection reimbursement, notification of your cancellation must be made a minimum of five (5) days before your package accommodation check-in date. Notification of your cancellation during or after the festival will not be eligible for reimbursement.

Package Protection Cost:
Package purchase price is the total package cost and covers all people in the package. You cannot purchase protection for just one person or partial group within the package.

PACKAGE PRICE: $5,000- $7,499 = PROTECTION COST: $450
PACKAGE PRICE: $7,500 - $9,999 = PROTECTION COST: $600
PACKAGE PRICE: $10,000 - $12,499 = PROTECTION COST: $750
PACKAGE PRICE: $12,500 - $14,999 = PROTECTION COST: $900
PACKAGE PRICE: $15,000 - $17,499 = PROTECTION COST: $1,050
PACKAGE PRICE: $17,500 - $19,999 = PROTECTION COST: $1,200
PACKAGE PRICE: $20,000 - $24,999 = PROTECTION COST: $1500
PACKAGE PRICE: $25,000 and up = PROTECTION COST: $1800
This is not an insurance policy. Package Protection is an amended cancellation policy for Mile 0 Fest, RokIsland Fest, & Key Western Fest Packages only. It is intended to protect your purchase should an unforeseen event occur. Only the events listed are covered. Cancellation requests will be reviewed and reimbursement determined by the Mako Moco Box Office. If your request is denied, the original payment agreement will apply. Package Protection is not available for ticket only purchases. Please refer to the standard cancellation policy, as it relates to the corresponding festival events and packages.
After choosing your Package Protection, you will receive your Package Protection agreement via email. You must fill out and sign your agreement digitally. You must include the names of all people in your package. You must agree to the terms and conditions set forth above. Package Protection is non-refundable. When payment is made you are agreeing to a one time non-refundable payment. If you select a payment plan for your package, you must pay the package protection in full at the time of purchase.
